Information for Wayne/Ontario County Members of Peacework Organic Farm CSA

2007 Sign up meetings at farm: orientation for new members. All members sign contract, make second payment, and sign up for farm work:
- Thursday, March 22, from 5 to 7 PM at Peacework Farm, 2218 Welcher Road, Newark
- Sunday, April 29 at 1 PM before the May Day Party at the farm.
On farm pick-up: for residents of Wayne and Ontario Counties:
- Thursdays: 1:30 PM till Friday noon
- Sundays: 1:30 PM till Monday noon
Pick up Clusters: we recommend arranging a pick up schedule with other members in your town. The farm will provide you with a list of local members. Please send a copy of your cluster's pick-up schedule to the farm!
If you want to take your share (or your cluster's shares) at end of your farm work slot, please remind farmers when you arrive for your work shift!
If you cannot pick up your share during regular hours, please call farm to arrange alternative. We are happy to hold your share for you if you let us know, but we can't guarantee the quality beyond 3-4 days. We donate all unclaimed shares to local people who need the food.
Work time requirements:
You must work three 4-hour shifts for Full shares, two four-hour shifts for Partial shares

Sunday: 8 am - noon

Children are welcome! but parents are responsible for own children. (see page on Children on Farm)

Fees:
- $14 to $20 on sliding scale for Full, $11 for Partial share times 27 weeks
- $5 membership fee

Newsletter: you will receive GVOCSA newsletter 6 times a year. We welcome your articles for newsletter! Please do not get confused with information that is specific for city GVOCSA members.
